Parboiled, steam
and raw varieties should be selected by the customers
according to the requirement of dishes to be prepared
from it and time for which dishes are to be stored.
Whereas raw variety should be served immediately,
steamed and parboiled rice dishes can be easily stored
safely for 6-12 hours if required. Raw variety can be
prepared after washing the rice immediately, steamed
variety should be soaked for about half to one hour
before cooking and parboiled variety should be soaked
for at least two to three hours before cooking. |
